Sri Lankan Foreign Prime Minster Assassinated
LA Mayor Bans Road Workers from Working During Rush Hour
The Sri Lankan Foreign Minister was assassinated today in his house while getting out of his pool. Police suspect two Tigers were hiding in the bushes and shot him in the heart and head. That is really intense. I hope we can move past this. We can civilians into space for $100 million a ticket - but we can't spend $100 million on creating clean water wells in Ghana (this was discussed in Secretary of the Treasury Paul ONeil's book The Price of Loyalty in which he suggested such a project to Bush as a cheap way to improve the U.S.'s image. Obviously never happened).
Poverty is a strong explanatory variable for many problems we have created for ourselves and each other. More to come on this.

clean water
dude, i can't even get water that doesn't taste like chlorine through the tap and i live in a place where my car gets blown up in the middle of the night. thank goodness for insurance.by the way, your blog here is really lame. just kidding...no i'm not. Did you really need to site so formally the book the price of loyalty? who read that? the only way people would ever read that book is if it was an audio book and they had to make a long journey. har har har. naw, me joking. i like the book and people should have clean water to drink because water is necessary. david, are we done yet? can we watch iRobot now? I'm listening to the iRobot book on audio c.d. in my car. doesn't look like the movie....we'll see.
